CD27 MicroBeads, human

CD27 MicroBeads were developed for the positive selection or depletion of CD27+ cells from human PBMCs or lymphoid tissues. CD27 is differentially expressed on B cells, T cells, and NK cells.

Detailed product information

Background information

CD27 is a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor family, which among peripheral blood B cells is present on memory B cells
and plasma cells but not on naive B cells. In human tonsils, expression of the CD27 antigen is found on memory B cells, germinal center B cells, subepithelial marginal zone B cells, and plasma cells. CD27 is further expressed on specific T cell subsets and NK cell subsets.

Applications

T cells can be pre-selected using the CD8
+
T Cell Isolation Kit or the CD4
+
T Cell Isolation Kit and subsequently separated according to CD27 expression.
For the isolation of human memory B cells, we recommend the Memory B Cell Isolation Kit.
