Overview

Rat CD43 MicroBeads have been developed for the isolation of untouched resting B cells from rat lymphoid tissue.

Detailed product information

Background information

The CD43 antigen (leukosialin) is expressed on virtually all rat leukocytes except resting B cells.

Detailed separation procedure

After magnetic labeling with CD43 MicroBeads, non-naive B cells and other CD43
+
cells are retained on the column, whereas resting B cells stay untouched and are collected in the column effluent.

Downstream applications

Untouched resting B cells isolated with CD43 MicroBeads can be used for studies on B cell development and function.
