Basic MicroBeads are unconjugated MicroBeads. They can be used for the removal of material that binds non-specifically to MicroBeads, for example, the removal of sticky or dead cells from samples. They have also been used to isolate lysosomes following endocytosis by keratinocytes.

The Basophil Isolation Kit II is an indirect magnetic labeling system for the negative isolation of basophils from PBMCs.
