Seperators

The µMACS Separator is designed for fast and easy separation of biomolecules such as RNA or proteins using µ Columns and MACS MicroBeads. The separator contains a powerful permanent magnet that induces a high-gradient magnetic field within the µ Column, a field strong enough to retain target molecules that are magnetically labeled with the extremely small MACS MicroBeads.

The MACSxpress Separator contains a powerful permanent magnet that induces a strong magnetic field within the tubes. The magnetically labeled cells will adhere to the wall of the tube while the aggregated erythrocytes sediment to the bottom. While the tube is still inside the MACSxpress Separator, the supernatant containing the non-labeled target cells can be carefully pipetted into a fresh tube.

MiniMACS™ Separator allows the performance of separations in combination with MS Columns, Large Cell Columns, or M Columns.
